Emerald Lion Photobooths is a local independent business that hires state of the art photo booths, magic mirror, and selfie pods for weddings, celebrations and corporate events in Ascot, Bracknell, Windsor, Wokingham, Egham, Maidenhead, serving the counties of Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Surrey, Middlesex, and London and surrounding areas within 50-mile radius of Bracknell.
What was the Business Challenge?
In 2015 Emerald Lion Photo booths sales and bookings were increasing so rapidly that to support their continued expansion they had to move premises so to accommodate the increased number of employees. They had previously used BT broadband but moved from a home-office facility to a remote business premises where broadband speeds were very poor, and they also needed a mobile solution for staff and booth operators The difficulty they faced was as a new business they needed to find a reliable telecoms partner to provide telecom services efficiently and cost-effectively.
What was the solution?
We installed a hosted IP Telephone & Mobile system which enabled the staff to answer the phone from their desk in the office, the mobile (if they were out and about seeing clients) and even from the Laptop or tablet. This meant the clients were able to connect with a member of the team quickly and without being directed to a voicemail. This increased the contact with the clients and drove an increase percentage of accepted bookings. If a call was missed the unified voicemail meant the client was called back quickly.
The Product
We installed Yealink Wireless Handsets and Vodafone mobile connections all on a unified billing platform.
What is the outcome and benefits?
Emerald Lion noticed an increase in communication with their customers leading to a higher percentage of bookings being made per incoming call. This meant the margins increased with less marketing providing more bookings. Built-in disaster recovery – in cases of site emergencies incoming calls can quickly and easily be redirected and staff can log in at home as though they were in the office.
